-- stylus/pen/pencil combo (http://discussion.visorcentral.com/vcforum/showthread.php?threadid=3695)
http://www.jvlnet.com/~autopt/stylus.htm
I just thought I would post this link since I have not see anyone mention it before. Though the web page says $30, I just bought one at office Max the other day for $14.
Activating a tip is pretty cool. The end opposite the writing end has three symbols around the shaft. You just look at the symbol you want (one each for sytlus, pen and pencil) and press the end like a regular retractable pen.
As a stylus, it works really well because it's well weighted, so I don't need to press when writing on the visor. The pen also has a good feel when wrighting, and is refillable (about $2/refil). The pencil works like a standard mechanical pencil and takes 0.5mm leads.
The whole unit is about as thick as a normal pen so it won't fit into the visor silo, on the other hand if you have a carrying case with a place for a pen (like I do) then you're all set. Also, the thicker shaft is more comfortable to hold than a stylus. I've found that for me, holding the thin stylus sometimes causes my fingers to feel cramped.
Anybody else used this stylus and have comments on it?
Just thought I would append my "review" above. On the bad side, there is no reset pin, and the plunger (for exposing a tip) sticks out quite far.
However, the plunger can be pulled out to expose a standard size mech pencil replaceable eraser.
With the pencil, once the the tip is exposed, the plunger can repeatedly be pressed to expose more lead.
I have the 4 device Stylus Plus and I love it. Even though it doesn't technically have a reset pen I just extend the pencil lead out far enough to use as one.
Looks pretty nice.
I have the Platinum Exec pen/pencil/stylus combo which I am really happy with too. I got it through palmgear for 25 bucks. It's a little more "fancy" looking (I work at an attorney's office). It's worth checking out.

I've been concerned about any sort of stylus/pen combo in fear of accidentally using the wrong part (i.e., the pen tip) on my visor screen. Has anybody ever done that or heard of anybody doing that? It would be just my luck.
