Want a good laugh than go to this web page. http://www.handspring.com/support.html .

When the graphic saying "when customers need help, we've got support" comes up, move the mouse over it and yellow "tool tip" will appear. It reads "We're so committed to customer support it's not even funny"

When does this committment start?

wow! that was pretty darn observant of you. And it is good for a quick laugh. BTW, their commitment is already being carried out--for orders placed on mid-October.

Remember, early-September orders have not been billed yet, so we early birds are not customers, right Reganc?

I can't wait for this whole mess to stop boiling over already. There no end in sight. I am not going to be surprised to read messages from angry "non-customers" straight through Christmas and New Years.

Oh yeah...Reganc, if we are reading reports from angry "non-customers" through the New Year, launch your FTC report, because by then we will certainly have a case against this company. Merry Christmas.

Now *that* is funny!

I hadn't thought about it but that's right ragamuffin! If you haven't been billed yet, you aren't even considered a customer in their eyes. I bet their lawyers are gonna use that one

Did you see they're hiring a cust service exec? The lights are now on, but no one's home.

Wasn't that position open the day they put up their web site? Maybe they had a few initial applicants who have since bailed out, after catching wind of the meltdown. The one who takes on that job and succeeds should go down as the savior of the company. That's not a job that I'd enjoy walking into. Not now...(But we all are counting on him/her to guide us to the light. )
