Has anyone tried either the HS or Thincom modem in the UK?
Any recommendations/problems?
Any information as to whether they are BT certified (Green Triangle thingy)?

or any other european country for that matter??
I have ordered it and am going to try it in Sweden (after it gets laundered through my address in the US
so it may be a couple weeks.
Card Access (the manuf) says that it is designed to work in Europe, but that they are still in the process of deciding which little approval logos to apply for... they say and I believe em that it is a marketing issue. I can't imagine that it will catch your house on fire, and thank god it doesnt require one of those industrial strength monsters you guys have for power plugs in the UK!
Hi there picked this up from another thread. Check out the Telefilter (3rd product down the list). and would appreciate any comments. http://www.teleadaptusa.com/nme/order_modemaccess.htm
I Too am going to Europe in 3 weeks (Greece) and will also try the thincom there If I get it in time.
