How can it be done?

Im sure it must be, they gave a demo on how to do it in a store once.

I want to be able to link to my Nokia via the IR, check email and browse (if thats possible) the web.

I havent got a clue how to start or what software i will need

Is there any info on this out there.

I have done that, and it works - very well!!

1.
I have a plain old Visor so I downloaded/installed IRLink because there is no IR support on my Visor.
2.
Go to Prefs and fill in username/password/telephone etc. into Network on the Visor.
3.
Activate the IR on the Nokia and place the two devices so that the IR-ports faces each other.
4.
Click CONNECT in Network.... Be happy..

Of cource you also need a browsing software to actually browse the Web.
