Removal of pesky icon
Well guys, you solved my wireless problem, here's another. I installed some software on my Platinum that was intended for the Palm VII OS. There's an icon on the homepage now that leads to nowhere, but it doesn't show up on the list of programs when "delete" is selected as an option. Any ideas on how to remove the icon?

Try the program Filez . It is a utility that allows you to do a lot more with applications than the default application management capabilities or programs such as File Mover. It will display, and therefore allow you to delete, programs and files that the default file management software doesn't allow. It also allows you to modify attributes of applications so at worst, if you cannot delete the program, you could at least hide the icon. (You should be able to delete it).
Oh, by the way, it is freeware.
