how sad
it appears that the visor deluxe is almost completely dead. i havent used mine for at least one and half years. it doesn't work anymore. oh well. handspring is totally diverging from their original purpose.
it feels really sad around here. this place used to be bustling! it feels like i am walking around in an empty graveyard. lots of old feelings are coming back about what life was like when i first got my visor deluxe. handspring was the greatest! slowly, they forgot what their original purpose was. i dont mean to offend anybody who still thinks that the visor is the greatest. it just seems like this is the perfect example of silicon valley and the end of the bubble. i used to check this site everyday and did so for several years. oh well. everything eventually becomes obsolete (or "yorck" as i learned by glancing in a dictionary earlier) and the visor is the perfect example.
visor, i will miss you. i salute you

haha, i didnt mean in that way! i was sitting in class and a guy behind me was randomly flipping throught the dictionary and i remember him saying yorck or something like that and that it meant obsolete.
by the way, i'm at 50 posts after 3+ years on the board!
After the better part of a year with a Palm m125, I miss the speed of file access from the Flash Springboard. Tap the icon to launch a Springboard-stored program and BAM, it's running. Do the same with a Palm/SD/VFS device, and you get "Loading..." If only there were 64MB Flash Springboards!
If I could get my Visor Deluxe to dial up and actually CONNECT to the Net through my Motorola p280 like it does with my Nokia 8290, I'd use the Visor a lot more. My almost-40 eyes are beginning to miss the bigger screen.
