Hi. I'm looking long and hard at the Visor Platinum as a Palm IIIx replacement. I use Outlook 2000 on the desktop. Does the Platinum sync with Outlook 2000 out of the box like the Palms (PocketMirror, I believe the software is called)?

Also, my main requirements are Datebk4 and the Noah dictionary. Do those programs work well on the Platinum?

And, last but not least, any Graffiti recognition issues on the Platinum? I heard there were some issues with the Prisms.

The Handspring software that comes with the visor does include PocketMirror. Which is the same thing that comes with the Palm to sync with Outlook. You should have no problem.

I would think that those programs you listed would work fine with the Prism, but I have had no experince with them,

And lastly I went from a Palm IIIx to a Prism and find the Graffiti to be just as good.

My Wife sync's her platinum to Outlook 2000 with no problems
