Buick Rendezvous AD!
Any one see the ad for the Buick Rendezvous (looks like the mini lexus suv)
" It's a Palm handheld with a V6 hard drive."
no palm or visor pictured but hey the handheld is going to be an option in all vehicles some day...or at least a hotsync port!

I've always thought that would be a great application for handhelds (having a cradle/hotsync port on the dash somewhere). Just pop the handheld in the car and the vehicle automatically downloads your preferences, such as seat position, temperature, radio stations, etc.

Believe it or not!
I know for a fact that I saw a picture of a Cadillac prototype that had an IR port on the dash so you could sync your PDA with the car's built-in computer. I think this feature may currently be available on some Cadillacs.
A hotsync port would be great! Maybe one for a prism so it charges your prism right there in the dash. AND if you have a gps unit in the springboard slot it should have a way to use the car antenna as the gps antenna. Or even if you have an mp3 player some way to send the sound out through the hotsync and to the car radio! Why have a CD Player when you can have a Prism with a mp3 player? Ok fine, maybe a CD changer in the back, but still
I think in my car the next few purchases for my prism will be a car charger, magellan gps, and a dash mount
