Is there any way to go beyond the maximum fifteen customizable categories in most basic PalmOS applications (i.e. Tasks)? Is this a hard limit, or would there be other apps or friendly hacks that can get past it (like hacks that extend the length limit on Notes)?

Alas, this seems to be a hard limit within the very Palm operating system itself. I'm sure this could be changed in theory by a hack, but I personally would be very loath to use such a hack. Patching something so low level has the potential to break a lot of programs.
