Previously Loved

I was at Frys today and say someone buying a refurbished VDX. I then say him again at the checkout and say that instead of stickers on the box that say Refurbished they say Previously Loved. Looks like someone at Handspring has a sense of humor.

Are These the VisorPhone Trades?

Be very interesting to find out if these refurbished VDXs are the older ones turned in by VisorPhone purchasers. And is so, whether the microphones have been fixed.
- it seems that older VDXs had a microphone problem. When you buy a VP, you'll get an e-mail telling you to check your serial number - and then you'll get a brand new VDX if yours has a serial number in the correct range.
SO, does Handspring fix the mic & sell as refurbished; or do they just clean them up & sell?
