Action avatars? Haven't noticed any (haven't been looking that closely, though). Are some people using animated .gifs, perhaps?

lowtech and meitsjustme have action avatars. I'm assuming it's an animated .gif.

Are you kidding? I was thinking of writing a PHP script that would display a random image with each hit to my server.

Not too hard to write something that would just read a list of image files in a specified directory, pick a random one, and then spit the data for that image data back out to the browser with the proper header. The only potential issue I can think of is that the images (I think) are somehow cached by the VC server, so I guess the image might not change *every* time. I'll try to do that tonight, and post the source if it works correctly.

Happy Treo 600 user, so far. Thanx Cingular for having an unlocked phone.

My Treo 600 is my phone, my PDA, my watch, and my MP3 player. Oh yeah, I take a picture once in a while with it. Convergence is such a great thing.
