Can't Hotsync
Please forgive the newbie question, but if I disconnect my hotsync cable do I have to reinstall the drivers or do anything special next time I plug it back in? Reason is I disconnected the cable and now I can't hotsync anymore. It gets stuck at "Connecting with the desktop" screen and then gives me an error. Hotsyncing worked perfectly before.
Try resetting your handheld. That usually does it for me.
If still doesn't work, reboot the desktop PC AND the handheld. That has never failed for me.
Hope that helps.

Thanks for the assistance, but unfourtunately I still can't hotsync. I rebooted the PC and reset my Visor (just poke the button on the back, right?) several times and nothing worked. I've had my Visor for a year and use it regularly and this is the first problem I've had. My last sync was over a month ago. In that time, the only thing I did to the cradle was unplug it. Anything else I could try?
Are you using a SERIAL or USB cradle? If it's a USB, try plugging it into another USB port... That may correct it.
Also if it is USB try the Handspring registry cleaner software that they have. Like a 300kb download.

Thanks! The registry cleaner program fixed the problem. I was starting to wonder if I broke the cradle somehow.
