Hi, Can anyone tell me if the backlighting on the Platinum is any better then the deluxe?????

I have a Deluxe which I LOVE but the backlighting sucks. Would be willing to upgrade if the backlighting of the Platinum is better.

No, I am not going to the Prism. Color would be nice, but not at the price they are asking.

The Platinum has the same backlighting as the vdx. If you want good backlighting, you may want to consider the SONY Clie, it has the same superior backlight as the original Palm III. I still have my PIII, and I can tell you that it's backlight blows away the one on the vdx.
