Cool

Has anyone heard any news on when a memory stick module will be available?

If memory serves, Innogear had announced a Memory Stick variant of their InnoDrive series - but it's been a long time since that announcement, and as anyone on these boards can tell you, the Visor community has been burned by Innogear before (*COUGH*sixpack*COUGH*). Hopefully they've learned from past mistakes and are playing it close to their vest.

Thumbs down

Personally, I'm about as interested in a MemoryStick module as I am in a chopper/grinder/grater module from Ron Popeil. Call me wacko, but I don't believe I have a single Sony product in my entire home. Somehow I don't feel left out.

just my $.02

Don't knock Ron!! The rotisserie gadget he makes RULES!!!, We got one as a wedding shower present and we use it at least 3 or 4 times a month.. It really is as easy as it looks on tv, and just about the entire thing can be put in the dish washer.. Since it was only the two of us this thanksgiving, we did a big turkey breast in the thing, was awesome! It's probably the only GOOD thing Ron has come up with yet..

However I agree with the rest of your sentiment.. and I own Sony products!

Coming soon from Ronco Technologies - the Showtime(tm) Rotisserie Springboard! Use the power of your Visor's built in expansion slot to cook delicious food in no time!

"Just put the roast on the skewers, plug the Springboard module into your Visor (the software automatically loads!), tap the button for "roast", enter the cooking time, SET IT AND..."

(Audience) "...FORGET IT!"

That's the Showtime(tm) Rotisserie Springboard - available in stores now. (Edge Connector model coming soon.)

The VC Discussion boards have finally degenerated into the least common denominator...the infomercial.

OK: Your a Wacko! :-)

I do have Sony stuff, including a Digicam that came with a (basically) worthless 8MB Memory Stick. I would love to get a MS --> SB adapter that would allow me to store apps on the MS.

Out of Curiosity, why even post if you don't care about Sony, or Memory Sticks, or the availability of such a module?

Ummm ... perhaps because they are annoyed when a company uses its marketing clout to foist proprietary products that are inferior to more widely used/available products? Just a guess.

What I think would be neat is for someone to create a Sony Memory Stick to Compact Flash or SmartMedia adaptor, I bet that would toast Sony's biscuits.. I'd buy one (even though I don't have any memory stick products, if I knew Sony was annoyed by it).
