Bluetooth Module: About time!!
PIC has the story
I was wondering when we'd see one, especially one that doesn't increase the form. And the price isn't astronomical, either!
Here's the link to the company, Red-M.
quote:
From the Datasheet
The Springboard module is standard sized and uses Visors own internal battery. Red-Ms Bluetooth management software comes integrated on the module and allows users to view a list of all of the devices to which they are able to connect including both personal end points such as PCs, PDAs, phones and also access points in a network. This enables users to establish a connection from wherever they are within the Bluetooth network. If required, the user can restrict the number of devices and connect to only
specific devices.

Finally a wireless solution, unfortunately it doesn't support the VDX. I bought the VDX for the capability of expansion, Ha!
I am assuming that the Bluetooth SP will only operate using the Latest Palm OS and seeing that the OS on the VDX is not upgradable I will need to upgrade my hardware. Maybe I will switch to the Pocket PC.
say what?
It has been two years since the Visor Deluxe was released. Get over it. I am surprise that people still have and use these things and expect to get the latest and greatest for it.
