I know there has to be a way to IR sync with the iMacs IR port, but how? do i need a special application? i dont have a cradle to sync with , just the visor solo.

Part 1: Go to the handspring site, which covers this, the 3com site and download Pogue's Guide to the palm, and the latest issue of MacWorld (January 2000, p. 95 Secrets).
Part 2: The IR sync software for the Palm does not work with the Visor. Send an email to [email protected] and request IRLink 1.5 Beta for the visor.
Part3: Load IRlink as directed and follow the instructions contained in Part 1.
As I don't have 1.5 yet, I have not been able to verify it, but others in VisorCentral had great success.
