Wink

Bring it on,

European Visor club, of course I want to become a member.

Got my Visor in the beginning of January. Shipped it through a friend in the US, worked fine with a Swedish Credit Card. Took forever to recieve it though, 6+ weeks. Was going to order a backup module etc. the other day but they've changed the rules, the Credit Card has to have the billing address in the US.

Haven't had any problems filling the memory on this little sweet thing... Not all programs are compatible though.

It is tons faster than the Cassiopeia E-11, still use it as a desk clock :-)

Cool

Hi,
Just got back from across the pond with a Vdx in graphite in my hands - ordered by my brother in Canada but shipped via Washington State.

Had fun using it alone, now just about to set up on PC here.

Looks great so far - never used Palm OS before

Cool

Hey! Where do we post announcements for the EVC???

BTW. I'm the fellow that sent the mail from AvantGo to the members listed in this post. I've found something better, especially pertinent for German users.

AvantGo doesn't have many foreign language offerings...look here Germans (and German speakers!) French too!

hi Goyena (a.k.a. the schnitsel guy ),

I am thinking of adding a small forum to the EVC site with topics for all the languages.

I need to find out how difficult it is to set that up/maintain that...

Since I'm pretty busy with my day-job too, it may take a while but I definately keep it in mind...

I'm another owner - Blue Deluxe.

Based in London, I write for the computer press here; you should see my reviews of the Visor in Personal Computer World and WhatPC? before too long, though I'm not sure of the exact publication dates.

Pretty happy with it, and even more so now I've had it talking happily to a Nokia 8210.

Please count me in!

I'm the proud owner of a Visor Dlx. I'm running a French magazine dedicated to handheld devices, and couldn't wait for Handspring to distribute their beastie here in Europe 8-)

I was in London this week and the Times had an interview with Handspring honcho (Deb? she was at Davos)who announced Visor would be sold retail in the UK this spring (April?). Anyone else see the article? Hey how about the new Springboard camera? Super cool! Can't wait to get one, even if the image quality isn't great.

Well I'm in.

I hope I'll get my Visor soon...

One Question: I need empty Springfield Modules!!!

We need them to construct some cheap hardware implementions. (Some engineering samples are very welcome!!!
