new problem hotsyncing to 2nd computer

I had my Prism set up to sync to Outlook 2000 both to my home and work computers. It was working fine until yesterday/today. Last night my Prism crashed and required a hard reset (an all too frequent occurrence lately). Since my most recent scheduling info was on my work computer, I just set my home Outlook 2000 to "Do Nothing" when I synched it this morning (planning on setting Outlook 2000 at work to "Overwrite Handheld" when I synched at work). Well, here is where the problem is starting. Whenever I try to synch to my work computer now, I get the following error (well this is paraphrased:

User "J. Sean McKay" already exists on this PC. Duplicate user names not allowed.

And then some other stuff about changing the user name on the handheld to get it to sync.

What's going on here? It seems like others have had this problem too, so I am wondering if there is a fix for this?
