#4 represents a wireless networking slot/card. That way you can get the card that represents your company's/home's network or switch out the card when you move into a different networking environment.

The new Sharp PDA is going to have a pull-out keyboard similar to the concept picture. It will run its own OS, however (a flavor of Linux, as I understand it), so I'm not sure how many applications will run on the thing.

Kewl ideas. But I don't like the form factor. I would go for a more minimalistic/futuristic/Star Trekky look.

That thing looks Stoooopid. It looks like it would be about 4 inches wide. Everybody here is always complaing about how the Prism is too big and then you say you like THIS?

I love the form factor of my Prism, nice and sturdy . This is a little off, looks like a web surfing board type thing. Oh well, just a drawing.

Look at the scale before you complain, the jog dial or SIM card use those for reference. Also it is just an artists idea.

I wasn't complaining. I was stating opinion. And I did look at it before I posted. I used the card on the right and the stylus as a basis for comparison. I would guess that card is a CF card.

If that is a CF Card then this PDA is very small...VERY! With the keyboard retracted, the cf card is almost half the length of the device, certainly more then a 3rd of the length. I thought this was a rather large PDA until you pointed that out, creole. Nonetheless, this is just a concept idea and if anything like this ever goes into production, I'm pretty sure the technology at the time will allow it to be smaller then the average pda's out today. They have already started working on quantum computers the size of your fingernail.......SCAREY

My perfect PDA is here (almost)

http://www.ebookad.com/hiebook/index.php3

I've come to use my VDX more and more for ebook reading - all's I want is another version - I call it Visor XL.

Twice as big screen, palm os support, springboard capability. That's it!

I'm so tempted to buy this thing - if it only had Palm OS instead of their proprietary system.

Integrated voice recorder, and mp3 player - standard earphone jack - lithiom ion battery, 10hrs of mp3 playback (which means a LONG time on just reading!)

That's it - I want a better ebook reader from Handspring!
