-- Hitting the Calc Button By Mistake (http://discussion.visorcentral.com/vcforum/showthread.php?threadid=2250)

Question

I keep hitting the calculator button on the graffiti area by mistake whenever I am in an application that uses the down arrow. I also do the same think to the Home button whenever I am on that side of the screen. It seems that these button are alittle higher or more sensitive then they should be. Is it just me or is there a way to fix this. I ordered a new stylis from PDA by the way maybe this wil help. Oh and I also want a bigger scroll bar.

You may need to recalibrate your digitizer. Goto into Prefs and select Digitizer from the list in the upper right and follow the onscreen instructions.

When you recalibrate your screen and have the X in the lower right, touch just ever so slightly below the X. This will help eliminate accidentally bringing up the calculator when hitting a down scroll bar button.

Talking

just to add........
if you look closely on your screen just above the calc/home icons....there seem to be a line that defines the boundary of the screen...if you hit below this line...it executes the icon below it....calc/home...

i had the same problem

Lightbulb

even after resetting the digitizer I've been having problems with hittingthe calc button when tapping on a scrollbar in that corner... so what I did was install a hack that made the button a DA launcher, so instead of having to restart my Applivation I can just close the DA.
