-- Ti Slider Case? (http://discussion.visorcentral.com/vcforum/showthread.php?threadid=3383)

Question

Has anyone sprung for the Ti Slider case by Rhinoskin? Does it work well with the Visor?

Question

James,
Was the case too bulky to fit in your back pocket comfortably? Would you spend $100.00 for one?

It fits in my jeans back pocket great. I love the case, but there are a few annoying things about it.

You have to remove to sync.
It doesn't hold the Visor snug, there has been a few times where I've wedged the Visor in the lid while opening it.
Its a bit of a pain to pull the Stylus out of the Silo.

As for the Fitting part, if RhinoSkin would've used a thicker neoprene pad on the Latch side, the Visor would fit better. I suggested that to them, all I got was a thank you for your suggestion, rather than offering me another piece of Neoprene. So I went to Home Depot and bought myself some weather stripping, it still does the wedge trick now and then. But its snug most of the time.

Yes, its worth the $100. Its a cool case, just wished they would've designed it for the Visor rather than retrofit the Palm case.

I don't know about jeans, but regular pants with a loose pocket is ok. I didn't try it with jeans because I was afraid the square corners might cut through them.
