New Stowaway features.
As the proud owner of a bran-spankin-new Stowaway, I did what any proper nerd would do: downloaded the SDK and rewrote the drivers.
So, I've got the features of the Think Outside standard drivers in place (thanks mostly to their sample source *grin*). Now comes the fun part: new features.
What new features do we (the Visor community) want? The most obvious things to me are:
1. Some sort of 10-key layout. Say, hit a function key combo, and it flips to numpad mode.
2. Halfkeyboard emulation. Because it's so much fun. :-)
3. Mapping of app shortcuts to -any- key, not just 1-9. (This is -not- a hardware limitation, it's the driver.) Plus, using a different key combo for apps, so it doesn't conflict with
shortcuts.
4. Keyboard menu navigation. I'm not sure where to begin with this, but I strongly suspect that it's possible.
Thoughts?

i would like you to program something into the driver that makes it easier to support the keyboard on my lap.

How about something that lets me play games with the arrow keys?

Drop Down Menu Access
A way via keyboard to: 1)access the drop down menus in any app, then 2)cursor through and select the menu options. I think this is possible currently in some apps, but certainly not all.
How about character mapping to emulate a Dvorak keyboard?

That's a good idea -- can you emulate pressing hw buttons when specific keyboard keys are pressed? (the memo/todo/addr/dbk keyboard buttons don't seem to work in games that are controlled by the actual hw buttons)
