I�m a big time *reader*, and that was my main reason for buying my Visor Deluxe. Not only do I get a good PDA, I can also read anywhere, anytime, and not have to carry a bunch of books and/or papers around with me. The two programs I use most for reading are PEANUT READER (for novels) and DOCUMENTS TO GO (for downloaded text novels and fanfiction).

Dataviz says in their �Documents To Go� readme file - �Fully compatible with Handspring Visor�, and I had no problems, until I moved a bunch of files to my 8mbFlash Module. Then, I had problems accessing them, so maybe this will help someone else:

(Only do this as long as it is a document that you do NOT need to modify.)
1. After you move a document to the FM, using FileMover (comes with the module), you need to delete it from you desktop�s DTG list. (The desktop can�t read from the FM, so it will think that you just needed temporary space on the PDA, and *temporarily* deleted it. It will download it again, and you will have the file twice, in two different locations.)
2. The FIRST time you sync after moving a file, it will still be listed with the other files on the Visor, but on the desktop, you will see a little �folder� icon (instead of the normal, Word, txt, etc.) next to the filename, with a size of �0 K�, status of �Busy� and a view of �None�. Basically, DTG found a file �turned on� for viewing, but could not locate the actual file.
3. The next sync�s log will give you an error message of �Source file is either locked or in use by another application.The item has not been updated on the handheld.� You will also no longer see the file listed on the Visor. It will seem to have disappeared� DTG only lists the files on the Visor itself � the ones it can modify. You will keep getting the error message every time you sync, until you also remove the �busy� files from DTG on the desktop.
4. OK, now here is how to view the files from the 8mb Flash Module (finally!). Once you are in DTG on the Visor, hit the MENU icon. Under �Record�, choose �ADD ITEM�. This brings up an �Add File� screen, with no files listed. In the upper right-hand corner it should say �Internal�. If your 8mbFlash is in the slot, when you click on this you should be able to choose from �Internal� and �HsFlashModule�. Pick �HsFlashModule�. All the files on the FM should now be viewable. (Unfortunately, they are not in alphabetical order � they are listed in the order they were moved to the FM.) Highlight the file you want, hit �Add� at the bottom of the screen, then �Done�.
5. The file is now listed with the files located on the Visor. You can view as normal.

*** Note: If you do not do a �Delete View and Record� for the file before your next sync, you will end up with steps 2 & 3 from above again. If you don�t care about the message, ignore it.

*** Note: If really DO need to modify the file, treat it the same as a new file to DTG, then OVERWRITE the file on the module when you move it.

Don�t worry, it really not as complicated as it sounds. I'm pretty quick with this now
a. Add file to DTG desktop
b. SYNC � adds to Visor
c. Move the file from Visor to FM
d. Delete file from DTG desktop
e. Delete �View and Record� from Visor
f. when ready to read file, �ADD ITEM�
7. when finished, delete �View and Record�

Other document readers/viewers may have something similar to DTG�s �ADD FILE�
