Are you listening, Handspring?

From this article on Yahoo!:

quote:

If you already own a Pocket PC and are wondering about upgrading to the new OS, don't worry--because you can't. That's right, most of the Pocket PCs already shipped don't have a flashable memory, so you're hosed, at least as I understand it. The lone exception is the Compaq iPAQ, which can be upgraded and gives those users yet another reason to feel superior to everyone else.

Yeah, I know: it's been beaten to death, but when even the press recognizes the virtues of FLASH, someone needs to start listening.

Talking

At least as I understand it, I own a Personal Digital Assistant. I could care less about others' choice of software, and even less of a need to feel superior(?) I don't even understand that. Truth be told, I don't expect to be using this same model a year from now, let alone a few months from today. We might as well call this (hosed) dead horse, "Elvis"

Vahhhhstly Superior

Frankly, I won't feel truly superior until I get a Phaser module for my VDX that conveniently links to my schedule so it is automatically set on stun during lunch hour and kill during insipid afternoon staff meetings.

Or maybe the unibomber module might come in handy if you get fired from your job. You can set it to go off automatically about 10 minutes after you leave the office for the last time!

That is way to off topic. It's rediculous.
