-- Anyone know how not to sync datebook, only date book plus. (http://discussion.visorcentral.com/vcforum/showthread.php?threadid=2243)
How do you keep the standard date book from syncing with Outlook, and only sync Datebook +. I just don't like having my calendar synced to both.
Sorry to tell you, but Date Book+ and Date Book, while different programs, share the same database. To check this out, in the Graffiti area, tap the house, tap on the menu icon (below the house), tap the App menu and tap Info. At the bottom of the screen tap the Records button and you'll see that Date Book holds all your records, while, Date Book+ holds none!
So whenever you sync your Visor with Outlook, the database is synced and the changes in the database appear in both Date Book, and Date Book+.
I read your question a little differenlty than the previous responder - but I understood you to be asking if when you sync, Date Book + would be the one to always show up on your Visor. If that's the case here's what you do to ensure that happens: Open DB or DB+; Tap menu at bottom left of Grafitti screen; tap Options at the top of the screen; tap Default Date Book in the menu that has just appeared; Select/tap DB+ as your default calendar. Then you should be all set - and everytime you open the Handheld, DB+ will show up, and of course the data transferred to the computer will by in perfect sync. Hope this helps - unless of course I didn't have clue what you were asking!!
The first response was the one I was looking for. I didn't want to have duplicate data taking up space. (Like it really matters)! But I do see what you mean by the default date book. Thanks..
