Soundsgood Won't Play

I'm wondering if anyone has experienced a similar problem:

Last night I hit the play button on my trusty Soundsgood, and nothing happened. So I started up the software and it said the module was hung, so I reinserted it... it hangs every once in a while, so I didn't think much of it, until I found that it still wouldn't play... After performing the troubleshooting steps on their website (reinstall firmware, format flash, hard reset Visor) several times, the module still hangs when trying to play, advance to the next song, or go back to the previous song, whether using the hardware or software buttons. Has anyone experienced this before, is it fixable, or do I just have a bad unit? I'm almost tempted to jump ship, but I really really like this module compared to my Rio 500...

Btw, I'm pretty sure it's not a battery problem, since I've tried it on 2 different Visors with 5 different power supplies...
