-- Audible files on MiniJam or SoundsGood? (http://discussion.visorcentral.com/vcforum/showthread.php?threadid=10060)

I think I read somewhere in the initial press releases of the MiniJam or the SoundsGood that one of them was supposed to support playing of audible files. I can't seem to find any new information on this? Any feedback? Basically I'd like to be able to listen to books on my Visor as well as MP3.

Innogear claims that the Minijam will support Audible content with a future software upgrade.

UPDATE: I could've sworn that I'd read the above in an Innogear press release, but I looked around a little bit on Innogear.com and couldn't find anything, so don't take my word for it.

Neither the MJ or SG can handle Audible.com content (nor have they announced it IIRC). The upcoming 16 MB module from Card Access can, however.

I heard about this module, but I'd prefer not to have to purchase two different modules, one for music and one for audio text. Has anybody figured out a way to listen to audio books using the MiniJam or SoundsGood. Sure would be nice not to have to switch modules.

InnoGear did initially announce that the MiniJam would handle audible content from Audible.com. It is supposed to be useable after an upgrade in the module software. There is no date on this yet, as with the skins editor or the ability to store files on the MMC. Wish they would hurry up!
