Question

I have a question which I need some help on.

If I share my pc with someone and we both sync on the pc but I use outlook and she wants to use the Palm Desktop software, how do I get this done. Since I have pocket mirror running for my Visor to sync with outlook, I can't seem to get her to have the option of synching with palm desktop.

Any advice would be much appreciated.

Thanks

The following came from pocketmirrors website. It is probably not the answer you want since it required you to use the user login feature of windows
http://chapura.custhelp.com/cgi-bin...&58-console

Description:
I want to sync multiple users on the same PC, some with the Palm Desktop and some with Outlook. Can I set
this up?

Solution:
To set it up so that different users can sync to different PIMs (e.g.
Outlook and Desktop), you must configure Windows for separate user profiles.
Use the Password applet in control panel to set this up. Follow this
procedure:
1) Uninstall PocketMirror.
2) Use the Passwords applet to configure for separate user profiles.
3) Log in as the "Desktop" user account
4) Install PalmPilot Desktop
5) Log out and log in to the "Outlook" user account
6) Install PalmPilot Desktop (in the same directory as before, this just
updates the registry and does not copy files)
7) Install PocketMirror
Now if you log in as "Desktop", you sync with the Palm Desktop. Logging in under "Outlook" will sync you
with Outlook.

I used this solution and it's working fine...some might say the 'different windows users' is a problem, but we found that it was neat because she could set up her desktop with the icons/wallpaper/etc. she wanted while i had my own setup!

It's like having 2 computers ... and it only takes a few seconds to log off one user and switch to the other.
