Screen protectors have one good function

I agree that screen protectors are a waste of time for your SCREEN. The matte surfacing on the protector makes it difficult to read the screen. However, I have found that the Graffiti area records my writing more clearly with a screen protector. So what I do is cut a sheet of screen protector just large enough to fit the Graffiti area. I can write more easily, and no annoying screen glare. I haven't even had to buy a box of protectors; I just bought one sheet for $1 from a coworker and that's all I need.

You're better off (financially and functionally) with scotch tape #811 (in the blue box).

Why can't they come up with a screen protector that combines the matt finish for the graffitti area and clear for the screen? This would be the best of both worlds.

Why can't they come up with a screen that doesn't need protection in the first place?

I am sure they are working on this...

In conjunction with Wonka and his Everlasting GobStoppers!

Yes, but you CAN buy Wonka's Everlasting Gobstoppers in the yellow box...(Don't tell Slugworth)
..i like the dual surface screen saver idea!

Hey! A modest proposal

I've got a bright idea - why doesn't somebody run and patent the idea of a dual surface clingy screen protector for handheld computers! (Meant in jest folks - no hate mail, pls.)

Or you could just buy a normal screen protector (or thin film sheet plastic if you're really into D-I-Y) and put #811 tape across the bottom of it.

Hopefully this stays under the radar of whatshisname so I don't get accused of stealing his thunder....

Cheers!

About that screen that doesn't need screen protector idea, I've got another good idea. Styli that don't scratch up the screen.
