I noticed that the Vdx rebate seems to have been extended to this Friday, May 4. Isn't this the second (albeit short) extension so far? Can they really raise the price back up to $250?

It almost seems like they are getting ready for some kind of an announcement.

So I shouldn't have been suckered into going for the rebate? But I thought the rebate originally started right before the Edge came out.

Rebate Stipulation

The $50 Rebate is not good for any price below $249. I unfortunately learned this by buying the product for less than $249 at a local store and trying to get the rebate. I personally think it is a crock, Target is selling the Visor Deluxe for $199 and is making no mention of the fact that the rebate cannot be used.

Worth a try if your rebate was turned down.
