Anybody know how the battery life compares between the Prism and the m505? I can only find general stuff.. I think Handspring estimates a Prism charge at 1-2 weeks. I don't know how long m505 is estimated at. Palm is defending their poor screen by saying that the battery life is very good. I'm just curious how much better it is than the Prism.

m505 battery life

I'm new to pda's, but I have an m505 and the battery seems to last forever with the frontlight off. With it on it does not last nearly as long. I've heard someone estimate 1% per minute with the front light on, but I'm not sure about the credibility of that. I think the battery life of the Prism would also vary depending on how bright you keep the screen. If I remember to pay attention to the amount of time I'm using my Palm I'll post how long it lasts.

I found a post at Palminfocenter that gives the battery life of a few models, including the m505, but not the Prism. It was at the bottom of this page when I visited. The person who posted said the m505 lasts 15 hours with the backlight off, and 6.5 with it on. Hope that helps!

And the Prism lasts about 6 hours with constant use at a useable brightness level.
