-- 8mb Springboard from Handspring Question (http://discussion.visorcentral.com/vcforum/showthread.php?threadid=5087)
Hmm... I don't remember if this was asked or not... I poked around but didn't see anything...
Anyway, I was wondering, when you are using the 8mb, does it override the 8mb on the Visor? Or is it pretty much like having a 16 meg Visor Deluxe?

It is like having 16 MB or RAM. Only different. It is actually 8MB of Dynamic (and volitile) RAM and 8MB of non-volitile Flash ROM. The distinction is kinda picky. The key difference is that you cannot store application data in the Flash Module. (Well technically you can store it there, but you would need to move it back to the standard RAM to use it.)
