Question

Twice in the last week, I've received the message:
Fatal Error
MemoryMgrNew,a
Line 2858,Chunk Over-locked

I get a button to "Reset" but it doesn't work. So far, soft resets have done the trick. I have a VDX with the recent update (I didn't have the DRAM issue).

any ideas?

What are you doing when the error comes up? Does it only happen when you run a specific program (if so what are you doing in the program when the error happens) or does it happen when you run any program?

The first time I clicked the PeanutReader icon, (I think I was in DateBk+), and the second time I was going from an app (probbly Datebk + again, can't remember) to the main applications screen.

I didn't load any new apps immediately prior to this happening, but I have had PocketMonkey for a couple weeks. Maybe he has something to do with it...

It almost sounds like an error I get when I try to use a program on my flash module thats not flash compatible. You wouldn't happen to have the flash module would you?

Nope, no flash module on my VDX.

Most reports of this error seem to be attributed to hacks. In fact there is a bug with hackmaster itself that will cause this after you activate hackmaster 15 times. Happens every time. Not sure if .91 fixed it.
Do you have any hacks installed?

hmmmm, no hacks either. Happened again today, but the message this time was Fatal Error
MemoryMgrNew.c
Line 4866,Chunk under-locked

???
