Question

Okay folks, I sold stuff this weekend to have money for the Memplug. How soon, is soon. I'd even do a pre-order if they'd let me!

I like the Matchbook that one of my fellow cube-mates got, but my PC at home has a smart media drive so that's what I'm going with.

Is it soon yet?

Talking Matchbook and SmartMedia

Why not get the Matchbook and get both capabilities. If you look at the comparison article that VC did, on this page: http://www.visorcentral.com/page/0-4-77-5-4.htm they show that Matchbook will have an adapter available for the MD-100 that will read SmartMedia cards. Two media with one adapter!

Talking Okay, you've sold me.

Okay! So when does the Matchbook that will handle both come out. And can I do a pre-order?

Thanks for the update!

Well, with that adapters you're going to have an adapter sticking out the top which kind of makes it hard to use. Not to mentioned the MemPlug has improvements such as software on built-in flash & the ability to "run" movies, images, and soon documents from the card.
