Any reports on the effect on battery life with the 8M fix? Since I applied it, my batteries seem to be draining noticably more quickly despite actually using the Visor less. I've been using Runtime to track the battery voltage in the last couple battery changes.

As a side note, does running Afterburner (even if you don't have it overclocking anything) affect battery life? The only reason I have it installed is to underclock a game that runs too fast otherwise. I did try it overclocking for a bit with Liberty, but I couldn't find a ROM cool enough to make it worth my while.

Well, I believe that on the patch web page there is a disclaimer that some users will experience increased battery drain.
