I just ordered mine about 2 minutes ago and they said that there was no express delivery and it will take 4-6 weeks no matter what. Is that right cause i got the impression that i could get overnight shipping for 15 dollers. can someone explain?

Why don't you just go pick it up in Fremont? It's not that far from you.

This might be a change in Handspring's policy or it might be that you got a hold of a CSR that just doesn't care. I'd suggest that you call back at a different time and see if you get a better response.

But where you live and where they are shipping from overnight delivery is just a waste.

'Overnight' means 'overnight after it's your turn in the looong waiting list'. When normal delivery time is 6 weeks, overnight will be 5 weeks and 6 days.

I would rather order a HS baseball cap then spending for overnight shipping.

PS: I don't think HS is shipping a single Visor themselve. All larger companies I work with use 'fullfilment agents' which do the order taking, credit card clearing, packing, sending & tracking'. I've seen some discussions about HS MA agent in palmstation.com
