-- New idea about the camera (http://discussion.visorcentral.com/vcforum/showthread.php?threadid=1032)

I just love the idea of giving my visor camera capabilities.
Comparing the eyemodule http://www.eyemodule.com/splash.htm with the PalmPix camera http://www.kodak.com/US/en/digital/cameras/palmPix/ for the palm I see that the lens of each attachment is oriented differently. The eyemodule's lens points along the long axis of the visor while the palmpix is pointed down to the back of the palm.
Both use the units internal memory for storage.

Idea #1
Now what if you make an eyemodule for the visor which attaches to the bottom as the palmpix does with the palm.
This frees up the springboard slot for a 8meg memory module. You could take as many pictures as you want as long as you have extra mem.

Idea #2.
Now what if you could flip the lens on this hypothetical eyemodule so that it is oriented opposite to the palmpix- that is up facing you, and you place a wireless cellphone module in the springboard instead of memory.
Presto! A handheld wireless Videophone!!

What do you think?
Possible? Practical? Just dreaming?

Wow, that second idea of yours was great, i thought you were about to suggest something resembling the game boy camera, but then you said video phone and my eyes lit up. I would assume its practical, if you can have a cell phone, why not a video phone. the screen, after all is there. It would probably be very choppy though because its wireless.
