-- Potential Springboard -- Modem/LAN (http://discussion.visorcentral.com/vcforum/showthread.php?threadid=5506)
I was just perusing Popular Science (July '00) and couldn't help noticing in the "What's New" section (pg. 18) a PC card released by 3Com. It is both a 56K modem and 10/100 LAN card -- all in a thin design with no messy connectors. The card is called the 3Com Megahertz 10/100 LAN + 56K modem CardBus.
Any developers out there interested in doing something similar for the Visor? Let's here it folks!
I'd watch Xircom since they have announced both a modem and an ethernet module... a combo unit would probably be a logical progression.
