Backup-Restore Problem

I was using my Thinmodem the other day and it suddenly locked up. I reset my Prism and snapped my memplug in. I did a restore from my backup and noticed that I couldn't turn the beam receive back on (happened before the reset as well). I noticed it because the general screen comes up after a reset. I did a hard reset and the beam receive was on again, so I restored from my backup again, only to have a fatal error after it reset and the beam receive still wouldn't work. I tried this several times with warm and total resets and never got it to work correctly. When I got back home, I did a hard reset and synced to my desktop, restoring everything and working correctly. Has anyone else had the same problem with the memplug backup? If it's gonna be a problem, I'll gladly get the HS Backup module, this was a pain. Thanks for the help,
