-- Desktop Software & Repeating Yearly Events (http://discussion.visorcentral.com/vcforum/showthread.php?threadid=2729)
Hi all. Please pardon if this is rehash of something old.
I just got off with Tech Support, and even though the woman was very patient, persistant, and friendly, I was told that the Macintosh Desktop Software is not able to do the following:
I want an repeating untimed event that happens the third Sunday of every June (Father's Day).
I know how to do this easily on the Handspring itself and have several of these types of events entered (e.g., Mother's Day, Memorial Day, etc.) However, when I try to hotsynch, I get a message saying that the Desktop software does not support this type of event.
How can this be? And am I really the only one that has run into this problem?
Any suggestions for workarounds, etc. would be greatly appreciated.
