Question

Hey Everybody,

I decided to make myself a custom Visor. I had a graphite and a blue visor deluxe. I seperated the halfs and created the two visors pictured below. I cant decide which to keep and which to sell to a friend, I'de like to hear your opinions and any feedback. I have a blue/graphite combo and a graphite/ice combo. Both are pictured below.

Thanks in advance, I recomend that you try it, its fun, relativly easy and makes your visor unique!

-Mike

I like the Graphite/Ice combo myself... would like to see the opposite, too (Ice front/Graphite back). Hmmm... do I know any Graphite owners...?

I have used a Graphite/Ice Visor for a couple of months (of course it is always in the Slipper case so you can't see it most of the time)....

But it is fun to have a unique color

I agree with Mark, I also like the ICE. Another advantage to that is you can put LED's in.

Seems to me the face plate defines the overall look of the unit anyway, so I don't really see the point of having a back in an alternate color. And a boring graphite back just seems to undermine the fun of a colored front... though I'm a Graphite man myself...

By the way, MarkEagle, where is that Alexander the Great quotation from? I've been trying to identify the original source ever since I heard the actor Alan Rickman's terrorist character use it in the movie 'Die Hard' years ago...

I haven't been able to find it myself... just liked it from the moment I heard it in the movie. To me, it's a more sophisticated way to say "he who dies with the most toys wins!!!"... (or would that be "the most Springboards"? )

It's a great line -- and a classic delivery by Rickman! I'll have to keep looking for the source... maybe I'll try to contact the screenwriter... Anyway, thanks for responding so quickly...

Lightbulb The Quote

I just did a quick look to see if I could find the origin of the quote and it seems to be from a poem by John Milton.

Thanks, Lacutis... I, unlike Hans Grueber, do not benefit from a classical education...

I did, however, find the complete Paradise Lost by Milton.
