SnapNPlay
I saw this thing on Handspring's website just now. This thing look really cool. It runs much like the SnapNType in that it snaps into the serial port and covers the silk screen area and the hardware buttons. Instead of a keyboard though, it has controls much like that of a GameBoy with the two fire buttons and four directional buttons in addition to the 4 hardware buttons for power, menu, applications, and another button that I have no idea what it is. The SnapNPlay also vibrates with the action. Finally, the driver software for the SnapNPlay allows you to customize button controls for the games you have and allows you to set the level of vibration.
I know what I want for Christmas now.

I would be interested in getting feedback on this product by anyone who has purchased it
Volcano - the buttons are home, menu, vibrate on/off and power.
It takes a bit of getting used to sitting in the hand, but it's ok, I'm just used to the gameface. I like the buitton layout a lot, though. The vibrate works with every sound as far as I can tell, so I leave it off. Still playing if you want more info donjuan.

A few questions:
What is the 'different key methodology' that the SnapNplay is not compatable with??
Do alot of games of games use this??
Would I be better off getting a Game Face???

The different key methodology is, i'm assuming, a programming issue. I have lots of games on my visor and the only one I cannot get to work with this is MaryoBros. The buttons are configurable so most should work. The GameFace and the SnapnPlay are roughly the same price (well, I had to pay shipping for the SnapnPlay), so, I guess it depends on what you're used to. If you ar used to a gameboy, computer or Playstation controller, get the SnapnPlay. If not, get the Gameface. If you plan to play a lot of games, I'd recommend the SnapnPlay due to the fact that the hardware buttons won't take a beating on the Visor itself.
Thanks for the info dampeoples
I was figuring it was a progrramming issue this 'differemt key metholodgy', the term just sounded weird...
I think I'll get the SnapNPlay...
