Does anyone know if this is a perfect fit in the visor silo?

I emailed E&B to inquire about the iPoint. Their reply was that is does fit in the silo, protruding approximately 1/16" to 1/8" to facilitate removing it. Makes it sound as though it is similar to the fit of the PDAPanache stylus.

It appears that James is busy using the iPoint right now (it must be tough having to play with all those toys...).

Interested in buying myself ... worried about the reset not being long enough.

I just bought an iPoint, and it was well on the way of being my favorite stylus yet. (stock stylus not worth mentioning, PDA pinache stylus much much better, iPoint was going to be the best.

It didn't stick out nearly as far as the PDA pinache, and it came with a pen. Then someone e-mailed me from this list and stated their concern that the reset pin wasn't long enough. I tried mine and it wasn't. Son of a gun. I wrote E & B company and got the following response

Hi Dave:

We just found out that the reset pin was not made to the original
specifications. We are in the process of recalling them so that we can put a
new reset pin in. Please return it to us and we will fix it. You will also
get a credit for the shipping cost incurred.

Kind Regards,

Mike

Oh well, I'm going to call their handy dandy 1-800 number and see what arrangements will specifically need to be made.

I have found that E&B is VERY responsive to their customers. The fact that they're going to credit the shipping costs says alot in itself.

I was all set to order an iPoint Pen from the VC store when I saw James' update about the reset pin... so now I'm waiting until I hear that the pin issue is rectified.
