Sorry for the spammish subject heading. I broke my Stowaway, so I went to Staples (in Hollywood, on Sunset) to replace it, and when I got to the counter I noticed a handwritten sign regarding a "Customer Appreciation" $20 discount on all purchases $100 and over. The manager at the counter graciously fudged the $.02 necessarily to technically qualify for the discount, so my Stowaway was $86 and some change after tax. The discount is valid through Saturday 5/5. I asked the manager if it was a company-wide special, and while he seemed to think so, his answer wasn't exactly authoritative, so call your nearest location to verify it before wasting a trip. I going back tomorrow to get an Eyemodule 2, which lists at Staples for $149.95 (compared to PalmGear's $199.95), making it $129.95 before tax. You could also use the discount to take some of the edge of the Edge -- granted, I know it's not free, unlike some vendors . . .
