Cool VFS beta for the Visor (from Kopsis)-another alternative to piDirect

Kopsis Engineering just released its first beta for a VFS extension allowing Innopocket, Matchbookdrive & anyone else using FAFilemover software to now have the technology of m500 & m505 to be able to run programs right from the compactflash cards. This beta works with both Visor deluxes & prisms (& platinums of course) unlike PiDirect.

On a personal note I've tried it & it works great. Still a few bugs but very promising. If only MS-Mount would work--we would have everything that PiDirect offers & more. Hopefully Kopsis will fix the MS-Mount bug shortly. Anyways I encourage everyone to give it a shot.

registered users can download it from:

It also includes a new version of LauncherIII which lets you open files on the card (it auto copies the file to RAM (at a fast rate) & then deletes it from RAM when your done with it). You must have the VFS software enabled to use LauncherIII though.

Question: does MS-Mount not work at all with the Kopsis VFS, or just not with OS 3.1? (I suspect the latter may be very hard to come by, from reports in the Developers group.)

Thanks for the pointer to the beta -- this is starting to look tres sweet.

not yet but probably soon

MS-Mount at the moment isn't compatable but I know Kopsis is working on ironing out some of the bugs so maybe pretty soon it will work.
