How about

How about the "InnoLeash" module

Not only does is come packed with 8mb of extra memory but it also has a pull-out / retracktable Dog Leash.

PLUS ** The LED alert function can be used as a flash light if you find yourself lost in the woods with your dog.

So you can still use you Visor when your wife sends you out to walk the dog

Or

Or how about the "GinsuPak"

Not only does it come packed with over 8mbs of memory but also is a Ginsu Knife - it slices, it dices....

Just push on the Ginsu Icon and out pops a 12 inch stainless steel Ginsu Knife!

Your wife will love the day you purchased that Visor!

Hehe:)

Hehehe... these just keep getting better!

Am I the only person who thinks InnoGear's memory module (the vibrating one) is a bit useless? I would have simply liked a 2mb module that was cheap!!!!

1. Innogear not real popular around here (see if you can find the mammoth post back when most of us were reeeal hard-up for some kind of mem. expansion)
2. Yeah, now that mem. expansion is all over the place, this product is aging real quickly
3. I, psnly, would like some kind of vibe alert - but wish the TaleVibes people would do it in the cheap way they did back when they started:
(a) Connected to the SERIAL port (so your SB slot is still free)
(b) Cheaply (wasn't it like $15.95 or $19.95 back then? Did they really have to DOUBLE the price?)
Otherwise, I'll just wait until, like the M50x series, the vibe is built-in.

July '99 it was $40.

If you have PalmPilot: The Ultimate Guide 2nd ed. (David Pogue) he mentions it twice in his book, once at $40 and once at $50.

I got it due to the high noise environment I work in.

Gee, I do have that book, too. (It's excellent; can't wait until ver. 3, due out in the summer, according to Pogue's semi-annual e-mails.)
I guess it was "wishful remembering"....
I'll still wait for the built-in, at $40 or > tho....

Whoa there!

Congratulations! You just turned a first-rate cable series comedy into a show that belongs on "Fox Broadcasting."

Gave me an idea for a Springboard module though.

Cool NapModule!

Here are some modules that didn't even make it to this post!

NapModule- Lets you host your own Napster server AND use Napster to play mp3 music on your Visor! It died when Hillary Rosen realized that this could be a successful product. Well, so much for that!

FloppyDiskModule- It's about time! You can use any 2HD floppy to store your memos and virus your handheld! What more could you ask for?

VisorCupHolder- I'm organizing, I'm drinking, I'm organizing, I'm drinking, I'm organizing, I'm drinking .....

UmbrellaModule- Let your visor be your umbrella! That way, whenever the wind picks up, you have an excuse to replace your screen!

WinModule- lets you experience things you could never fully appreciate in the Palm OS.... like CRASHES!

yaz, that was a little harsh.

I think the posts are funny.
From his posting style I seem to think bblue is under 18 though. Or maybe just plain happy and hyper.

Yeah, the blue man's a good egg....
Bush supporters OTOH, are *DEFINITELY* on crack! Esp. if they "admire" Dan Quayle, similarly. I.Q. of the 2 combined doesn't even reach 6!
Prob. best to keep your politics to yourself on a tech. board, eh?

shouldn't that be for putting your young Visor to sleep for a couple of hours?

gee, bblue ... The Visor's smaller than a floppy disk ...
not that it isn't a reasonable idea, but the form factor's gonna be bulky.

A: Yep! I knew that! Floppy disks have always been a source of viri (?) for me. A 2 year old floppy would be considered well off. Most die long before then.

Quote: ick.

Here's another (not so) Brilliant module:
Election Guide 2000:

You can ask Mr. Gush, Mr. Nater, or Mr. Bore a question (names misspelled on purpose), and the software will hopefully be able to answer it for you. It will answer with simulated personalities, truthful campaign answers.

Some Demonstration Questions:

Mr. Gush, what's your opinion on the second amendment?

Gush: Well, I feel that, as all Americans, our rights should be protected. I think that, our free speechivity is an assertion of our nation. I feel that, as an American, I should do all I can do, to help reach the possible acheivety of our nation.

---

Mr. Nater, What is your budget plan?

Nater: Well, the first thing I want to do is remove all Pintos, Yugos, Gremlins, Vegas, Chevettes, Corollas, and souped up Civics off the road. Studies have shown, that if they were to go off of a 10-story cliff, there is a major possibility of their headlights to cease function. This is NOT acceptable.

---

Mr. Bore, how would you aid this country in a time of crisis?

Bore: Well, let me tell you about a little girl in Lansing Michigan named Kay Lee. Kay Lee doesn't have a desk. Each day, she has to go to school, and share a desk, because the school does not have another desk. It doesn't matter that they need a place to put their million-dollar computer purchase, our schools need more funding, and I want Kay Lee to have her desk.
