I tend to agree with the original post I would be niceif people would just chill. At the same time I've been a little antsy of late as well. It's hard not to be when you see the web site and the obivious miscommunication happening with this company.

My problem with this isn't when are they going to ship it is will they PLEASE confirm that they have my order and that they got it right. I really don't want to wait until early november only to find that they either lost my order in one of the server crashes, some CSR threw it away or that they got iut totally wrong.

This has to be understandable to you all as I'm sure you've had occaision to order merchandise where either the order got lost or the CSR got it wrong. At X-Mas last year Omaha Steaks shipped three of the presents I ordered, out of 5, to the wrong address, they got the zip code wrong and these gifts arrived two days AFTER X-Mas. This is my problem with this situation.

I'm sure there would be ALOT less BMW if Handspring would just EMail those who have ordered and let them know that the orders are being processed.

My Humble Opinion,
Bill

I'm not annoyed that I don't have my Visor yet but I feel that Handspring should estimate a ship date AND should be confirming orders that they took almost a month ago!

(In response to a post waaaaay back there...I've done just fine *without* a PDA. My trusty Filofax has steered me through the best and worst times. Of course I'm eager to get my Visor and get with the PDA crowd, but geez, there are plenty of other more pressing concerns to worry about!)

Sign me....Chillin' in New York, and not phased by the 4-6 week ship date. It will be an early Xmas present! Fun!

Red face

Well as expected and announced Handspring came through with a response allbeit not a very happy one for those who hoped that they would at least recieve a confirmation.

I read that they had recieved so many orders and started sending out emails manually and it did not prove to be pratical.

So the squeaky wheel gets the oil. If you need confirmation of your order you will have to call them. Hopefully this will be a pleasant experience.

I will probably call myself because it is a legitimate concern that they have all of the information correct.

I'll let you know how it came out!
