Visor Platinum Offered by Aldi
Yes, it may be a bit cheaper, but after buying one, I find that everything's in German! That would be OK if (like every cell phone in Europe) a language could be selected. I now gather (from the FAQs on the Handspring Web site) that the language cannot be changed. Bummer! Do I take it back or learn better German? Or am I mistaken about changing the lanuguage (to English)?
Two comments:
A. language being fixed is another result of the OS being in flash ram, it cannot be changed.
B. Just install third party apps/launcher that are in english, you will then hardly notice that the device is german
B.2. Learn german, at least enough to use your organizer. I brought my blue vdx with me from the states, and reinstalled the german versions of all my 3rd party apps.
