Anyone know their intentions for an edge case? Last I heard, HS had a larger market than Sony. Seems rather odd that their putting out a case for Sony as opposed to HS. Then again, designing a case for the edge presents some problems (e.g. stylus silo, blinking LED alarm, etc.

Does anybody have any hard sales numbers for the Edge? I'm starting to get a little annoyed with the Clie: First it seems to creep into every thread here, then it gets all the cool accessories.

Is anyone even buying the Edge? If so, is it just the difficulties of trying to include as many features as possible into a case as DR said? As I look at this little wonder sitting on my desk, it seems a no-brainer that there ought to be stylish accessories to go with it...

I bought the HS because of the module capability. I realize the Edge has the sled, but I usually have a module in my unit, so that would kind of defeat the form factor reason. The module that is usually in my unit used to be the backup, but now it is the MemPlug.

I had to replace my VDX a while back and looked at the Edge, but decided on the Platinum. Besides the fact that it worked with my Stowaway, I did not a growth on my PDA all of the time. I would not mind it if I was using a modem or something I use occasionally, but I do not want it on there all the time.

HS needs to come out with an Edge type product, in color, that accepts a SM card similar to the system the new Palm unit.
