Question

Pls help,I have installed the Palm desktop software and selected the option to sync my Visor with Microsoft Outlook. That works fine and I want to keep it that. However, I also want to see (and change if possible) the content of my Visor with the Palm Desktop Software also. Any idea on how to do it??Thanks in advance, Jaco.

right click the hotsync icon in the task bar (near the clock) and select custom > mail > change.

i hope this helped...otherwise you might want to refer to this thread.

Thumbs up Here's how I do it!

I had the same problem that you did, and here is what I do:

Go into Outlook and on your toolbar, you should have a button that looks like your Visor - select it.

That should take you to a conduit manager screen; select the settings button.

Under Settings, you should get a Change Synchronization Settings screen and there should be a quick One-time action setup option on the bottom of the screen. Click on the down-arrow next to the input box and select "Backup to Palm Desktop Files."

Then hotsync your visor - that should do the trick. (That's how I do it and it works great for me.) Seeing this is a one-time option, it will hotsync normally next time. Anytime you want to update the information on your palm desktop, do the same thing again.

Another option is to install TrueSync which will allow you to sync to Palm Desktop and Outlook (plus others) at the same time.

Bregent,

I have been searching the internet for TrueSync but the Yahoo website does not exist anymore.

Do you know where to download it?

Thanks in advance,
regards, Jaco.

Try http://calendar.yahoo.com/ and look for the TrueSync link near the bottom.
